Comfort food made easy—an entrée with tender chicken breasts, creamy, cheesy sauce, and a flavorful pepper and onion blend topper.

Ingredient Weight Measure
Chicken breast, boneless, skinless (5 oz. each) 40 oz.
Salt as needed
Black pepper, ground, divided 1-1/2 Tbsp.
Olive oil 2 fl. oz. 1/4 cup
Chicken gravy 12 fl. oz.
Cheddar cheese, sharp, shredded 8 oz.
Sour cream 3 oz.
Butter 2 oz. 2 Tbsp.
Simplot Simple Goodness™: Diced Peppers & Onions Blend 12/2lb 32 oz.
Garlic, minced 5 oz. 1 Tbsp.
Celery salt .2 oz. 1 tsp.
Preparation Instructions:
Step 1
Season chicken with salt and 1 Tbsp. black pepper. Add olive oil to a large skillet and sauté chicken over medium heat until cooked through. Reserve warm.
Step 2
Whisk together gravy, cheddar cheese and sour cream over low heat in a small saucepan. Reserve warm.
Step 3
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat, add peppers and onions, garlic, celery salt and remaining black pepper. Sauté until heated through. Reserve warm.
Step 4
For each serving; plate cooked chicken breasts. Top with 4 oz. of pepper and onion blend, and finish with 3 fl. oz. of gravy.
