They say a picture is worth a thousand words—this breakfast burger is proof-positive. Maybe we need 1,001 words to describe this one—add an extra "delicious".

Ingredient Weight Measure
Ground beef, divided into 4 oz. portions 4 lbs. 16 patties
Kosher salt 1 Tbsp.
Black pepper, ground 1 Tbsp.
Smoked cheddar cheese, sliced 1 lb. 16 slices
Simplot Traditional Potatoes: Old European Potato Pancake 6/5lb 40 oz. 16 each
Glazed doughnuts 32 each
Hot pepper jelly 16 oz.
Bacon, sliced, pre-cooked 32 slices
Eggs, fried 16 each
Preparation Instructions:
Step 1
Preheat flat top griddle or cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 2
Gently form each portion of beef into a cylindrical disk about 2 inches tall. Season with salt and pepper. Add beef portions to griddle or skillet, and press down with a firm metal spatula to match the diameter of the doughnut. Cook without moving until a crust develops and to desired doneness. Top with a slice of cheese. Hold warm.
Step 3
Prepare potato pancakes according to the package instructions. Hold warm.
Step 4
To build each sandwich; top a doughnut with one prepared burger, a potato pancake, 1 oz. of jelly, 2 slices of bacon, and a fried egg. Finish by topping with another doughnut.
